New Shutters Transform Home in Ione
Can-Do Window Coverings recently installed new shutters to transform this house into a home in Ione. Our customer selected custom Eclipse shutters with our deluxe trim frame to be installed in all of the windows of their home in Ione. Many of the windows in this home were large and required some unique design options. For example, there are two sliding doors opening to the backyard and the morning sun. So, with such large windows, our customer needed something to block the light and heat.
Eclipse Shutters are a perfect solution for complete privacy, while also providing different options for light control in your home. Many of the homes we service in Ione are located along the Castle Oaks Golf Club, so privacy can be an important aspect of window treatments for these homes.
Shutters for Sliding Doors
Our customers are always looking for good alternatives to vertical blinds for their sliding doors, and shutters are a classic option. With Sliding panel track shutters, you can have full privacy in your home, or tilt the louvers open to look through your window. For such large panels, we add a divider rail for structural support. When we use these on a panel track, we can provide a handle for you to use to slide your shutters open and closed with our ‘deluxe’ divider rail.
Wide Shutters for Wide Windows
With Eclipse Shutters from Can-Do Window Coverings, wide windows become a beautiful part of your decor. For this wide window in Ione, we installed ‘T’ Posts where the natural divides in the window appeared. In that way, we were able to install wide panels that can open independently of each other. This shutter has three panels and all of them have hinges on the left side for a beautiful aesthetic. This window already had a window sill before we installed shutters. So, we ordered the bottom piece of the frame trimmed to accommodate the bottom window sill.
