Custom Roller Shades
Custom Roller Shades are available in a variety of styles. The style you choose will depend on what you would like to achieve with your shade. Roller Shades offer UV protection when lowered. Alternatively, they can be fully raised to reveal your view. We have hundreds of fabric options, featuring decorative and functional fabrics. In addition, we offer a diverse array of solar screen shades.
If you need a shade for outside, Can-Do has you covered! We offer a variety of exterior shade fabrics from Alta-Window Fashions. Not only that, we offer automated exterior shades from Insolroll. Guide cables or channels offer stability to the shade, so they are fine to leave down on breezy days. Insolroll shades are compatible with hard-wired home automation systems, and are one of the preferred shades of architects.

With our decorative fabrics collections, you’ll find everything from soft linens to distinct patterns and textures. Some of our collections offer a wider variety of color choices, while others offer specific, distinct selections. Explore Linview or Tundra for a more subtle look, each with a wide variety of color options. Alternatively, our World Textures and Sheerweave collections offer distinct, unique fabric textures.
Many of our decorative shades are also available in blackout fabrics. If you need to sleep in or watch a movie, blackout shades are perfect for darkening your room. Options for blackout fabrics include our most popular collections, like Santa Cruz and Carrara. In addition, we offer simple simple and affordable vinyl options.
Screen Shades
Screen shades offer UV protection, while allowing you to enjoy the view outside. Although they are beautiful in their simplicity, we also offer decorative screen shades. For example, our Sheerweave fabrics. Screen shades can be mounted inside or outside of your home. Our shades are available in various openness percentages. The images below demonstrate what a person is able to see through a screen shade. The left image shows what you will see through a dark screen shade during the day, while looking out of your window. Conversely, the image on the right shows what a person will see looking in through a dark screen shade at night. Roller Shades Cassettes and Valances
Keep It Simple
The top of a roller shade is a simple, modern look. You might prefer to have no top treatment, and simply mount the shade. Alternatively, you might prefer the look of a ‘Reverse Roll’. In this case, the roll is reversed. In this way, it appears like one continuous piece of fabric. Instead, you might choose to decorate your shades with a valance or cassette.
Top-Treatments
If you order your shade with a top treatment, the shade will roll into the cassette or behind the valance. Our newest cassette is the square cassette, offering a sleek look. Our cassettes and valances come with matching fabric inserts to compliment your shade. Optionally, we offer cassettes without fabric inserts. These are available in a variety of colors to coordinate with your shade. Our Fascia option provides a flat, sleek look. Finally, our Pocket Headrail option is designed for commercial use.
Control Options
Can-Do Window Coverings offers a variety of control options for your custom Roller Shades. The standard operating system is a continuous cord loop. We also offer state-of-the-art cordless options, so you can raise and lower your shade by lifting or pulling on the bottom rail.
Because your family’s safety is our priority, we offer several automated options that are ‘Certified Best For Kids’. With our automated options, you can raise or lower your shades with ease. Furthermore, you can program a ‘Favorites Position’. This allows you to position your shade in your favorite position with the press of a button.
Revolutionary and Tested Cordless Options
Our cordless control options allow you to raise or lower your shade to whatever position you desire. To do so, simply raise or lower the bottom rail. Our manufacturer offers two kinds of cordless operation systems. With our TouchLift system, jog the shade to adjust its position. Alternatively, with our newly introduced AgileLift, simply lift or pull the shade to adjust its position. Make sure you can reach your shade before choosing a cordless control option!
Automation and Motorization Options
Our shades are compatible with your home automation system. If you don’t have a home automation system, don’t worry! We provide everything you need to operate your motorized shades. There are a handful of options to choose from, depending on your needs. We have convenient options from remotes and wall-switches. In addition, we offer an affordable motorization system. The PowerWand hangs from the shade like a tilt wand, simply press up or down to raise or lower your shade. Our Automated shades are ‘Certified Best For Kids‘, so you can be confident in your decision.
