Custom Wood Shutters
Are you looking for a classic and timeless addition to your windows? If so, custom wood shutters are a beautiful look for any home or space. There are several design options to consider when designing your custom wood shutters. These include frame style, louver size, and control type. In addition, we offer painted or stained finishes to compliment your decor.
Louver Sizes
We offer a variety of louver sizes for your custom shutters. Consider whether you prefer a more traditional look, or a clearer view through your open louvers. As a general rule, all of your shutters should have the same sized louvers. Our 2 1/2″ louvers offer the look of a traditional shutter. This is our smallest louver size, so it works well with small windows. Secondly, 3 1/2″ louvers are our most popular selection. This is a larger sized louver, so it offers a less obstructed view. Additionally, it compliments medium to large sized windows well. Lastly, our 4 1/2″ Louver is our largest louver, so it provides great visibility and is perfect for large windows or tall ceilings.
Custom Control Options
Consider whether you prefer a clear view, or a more traditional look when selecting from our control options.
Traditional shutters are equipped with a tilt bar that connects the louvers. Simply raise or lower the tilt bar to adjust the louvers. Divider rails and head rails will have mouse to accommodate the tilt bar, so your louvers will close tightly.
Alternatively, we offer a hidden tilt connector. This is a rear connector placed on the back and side of the louvers, so it is hidden from view. In this way, you can reveal more of the view through your open shutters.
