Custom Sheer Shades
Custom Sheer Shades from Can-Do Window Coverings combine the versatility and light control of blinds, with the soft fabric look of shades. Lower the shade for complete privacy with the vanes tilted closed, or tilt the vanes open to let in your light and reveal your view. Furthermore, you can stop the shade at any place on the window, with the shade tilted closed. We offer a variety of fabric options and controls for your custom shades.
Sheer Shades Offer Versatility
Sheer Shades offer versatility for privacy and light control. Not only can you lower your shade to any position for privacy, similar to a roller shade, but you can also tilt the shade open when it reaches its lowest position. Simply lower the shade completely, and continue ‘lowering’ the shade to open the opaque fabric vanes, revealing a soft sheer fabric. In addition, opening the shade reveals your view and allows light to come through the sheer fabric. Sheer Shades only tilt open when they are in the fully lowered position.
Fabric Styles
We offer various fabric styles for our Sheer Shades. Choose from 2″, 2 1/2″, and 3″ vane sizes. If you have shutters in your home, you will want to select a vane size that is similar to the louver size of your shutters.
Fabric Opacity
Our Sheer Shades offer two options for fabric opacity. This option determines the fabric that will be used for the operable vanes that tilt open and closed. First, our translucent fabric allows light through the fabric, so more natural light is let into your home. Second, our light dimming fabric will reduce the light that enters your home. Both options provide privacy when tilted closed.
